NYMadness Launches our Seventh Season Sept 25th, 8pm in our new home…

We’re thrilled to Announce we are now a COMPANY IN RESIDENCE at the

HORSE TRADE THEATER GROUP is giving Madness a home at THE KRAINE THEATER 85 E 4th St/Ellen Stewart Way

Dear NYM Family,

Thank you! We started in small studios at ESPA Primary Stages, were welcomed into Downtown hallmark spaces like Cherry Lane Theatre, HERE Arts Center, IATI Theatre, and hosted in Midtown at Ensemble Studios Theatre, The Atlantic, Playwrights Horizons, and so many others. Through the generosity of the theater community and of our friends, family and fans we have produced work all over New York City.

Most importantly we presented countless new plays and six consecutive season of 50/50 Gender Parity! We walked the talk. That took not only generosity, but hard work on the part of our entire team.

This next year will be an ambitious one. We’ll be doubling our usual events and partnering with some of those wonderful theater makers who helped us get here. It’s my great privilege to now return the favor by bringing these marvelous artists to us in our new home. I hope you’ll take part in the madness by seeing some of these fresh new plays. I’m proud to announce that NYMadness will be partnering with FIRE THIS TIME FESTIVAL, THEATRE 167, and THE MENTOR PROJECT to present events specifically filled with their writers in addition to our regular season.
